BOARD OF DIRECTORS
sahb Finance’s board of directors holds significant responsibility in ensuring the effective governance and strategic direction of the company.
Our BOD is composed of a high caliber professional who bring with them a wealth of knowledge, experience and competencies to sahb Finance.
Mr. Badr Al Badr serves as the Secretary General of the Higher Education Fund. He has extensive professional experience in finance, investment, and business development, having worked with various government and private sector entities and held several senior leadership positions, including Deputy Minister of Investment and Chief Executive Officer of the National Companies Promotion Program (one of vision 2030 Programs). He has also held executive positions at the Saudi Central Bank and Arcapita, as well as various companies operating in the investment and real estate development sectors.
Mr. Al-Badr holds a Master’s degree in Banking Development from The American University in Washington DC and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from King Saud University. He also has extensive experience serving on boards of directors and committees across various public and private sector entities.
Dr. Omar Almania joined Sahb as Chairman of the Board of Directors in February 2022. At present, Mr. Almania is associated with Higher Educations Fund as the Assistant Secretary-General For Investment.
Dr. Almania has a rich professional career in finance and investment business. He is also an Assistant Professor at Al-Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud Islamic University. He is Ph.D. in Finance from Glasgow Adam Smith Business University and CFA.
Mr. Omar Alemadi joined Sahb as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors in June 2022. At present, Mr. Emadi serves at Masraf Al Rayan as the Group Chief Risk Officer.
Mr. Alemadi is an experienced senior banking professional with over 20 years’ experience and has a wealth of knowledge of the Qatari, GCC and international markets. He is graduated in Business Administration from California State University.
Mr. Mutaz Dana joined Sahb as member of the Board of Directors in Jul 2023. At present, he serves as General Manager - Head of Compliance & AML at Masraf Al Rayan, Qatar.
Mr. Dana has over 20 years of experience; he holds master's degree in finance management and bachelor degree in Accounting. Mr. Dana is also a certified AML Specialist.
Mr. Ziyad AlSaleh joined Sahb as member of the Board of Directors in Jan 2020. He is the CEO of North Energy. He is also President at Bab International Corp for Specialized Service.
Mr. AlSaleh is an experienced senior IT professional having more than 30 years of experience in IT sector. He is graduated in computer science from King Saud University, and also holds Master of Business Administration from Hull University.
Mr. Hisham Alturaigi joined Sahb as member of the Board of Directors in February 2021. At present, he is associated with alinma bank as Credit Management General Manager (CCO).
Mr. Alturaigi is an experienced senior banking professional with over 24 years of experience in banking sector. He hold Masters Degree in Accounting from the King Saud University and SOCPA.
